This recipe was shared to me by a beautiful mama from Aitutaki, Cook Islands and now it's time to share it with Aotearoa. I have added my favourite childhood ice cream flavours (Blitz) to give it a personal touch. This rich, dense cake is best served chilled.
To ensure your cake gets home safely we reccommend cranking up the air con in your car and bringing a helper to hold the cake during the journey. This chocolate bonanza is dense, so it fares well in winter. Store in fridge a few minutes before serving.
